‘SHOWOFF’
A print exhibition of the letters A-Z by 26 artists
This year we, in conjunction with OFFSET, decided we should “SHOWOFF” some of Ireland’s talent, give the public a good flash of the creatively well endowed inhabitants of our little island. Some of them are well known including Asbestos, Scott Burnett (AAD), James Earley (Inputout), Gavin Beattie (tiny little horse), Lorcan Finnegan, Richard Gilligan and some, you should know. This creatively limber group come from a verity of backgrounds, including illustration, graphic design, photography, textiles, sculpture, music, film……….
Each of these artists have been given a letter of the alphabet,at random, and asked to create a distinct visual response. These results will then will be reproduced as a limited set of prints and all the works will be on show in Article of Powercourt Townhouse from the 30th of September until the end of October.

Previous work for submission does not have to be directly related to the theme of the exhibition, and variety is always welcome. Any experience with print is a plus but not essential.
